Trying some advertising

Well, I am trying some e-mail advertising and hope I sell a few books through them. Business must be slow for them as they kept dropping their price to where I thought it was a fair price. Do not know if it will work but it is worth a gamble.
I need to sell some of the books so I have time when my next book comes out sometime this year. (2010)
Then if the company I have that is tryiong to sell a mauscript for a play or movie stickes out I think I will go with a publisher with that and make it into a book. That is a touchy one as it is a Christian book but is XX rated due to the sexual content. It pertains to when Satan takes over the world and how he takes just one family and breaks them up. It is based on the book of Revelation of the Bible.
I am running out of time as I do have another book that I am writing and I like to write when I have the ideas in my mind and not three, four, days down the road.
So again if you have ideas for advertising or getting newspapers to publish an article on the book, please let me know. Thanks
