I am just curious, so I am asking if you know what this is???
We all have them, some not too happily, some with joy. They just come and then are gone. Some will get them on the same day as a holiday, some will not. They can be boring, they can be fun, and for some they can be sad. Some people live there lives around them, others run from them. It just does not matter as you still will get one. Some people will overeat when they get one, some will drink to much when they get one, and some people will try to hide when they get one. Mine came today and I am glad. What is it--------a birthday and today was my seventy sixth one, and deeper in debt. Just recupersting from another prceedure being done on my left leg with the right leg to be done soon. (I hope) Viens have blockages in them and it was getting harder to walk. If you saw the picture of the leg you would wonder how any blood flowed through the vien. Hopefully I will be back more often. Working on my fifth book, two are published, two I am looking for publishers and may have found one that is interested. I am not going to hold my breath though.
May you all have a good birthday this year and thank the man up above for what you have.

What am I going to say today?????
Do not have much to say today. I did have the one book that I am trying to find a publisher for, it will be taken to the Franfurt book show (Germany) and maybe, just maybe someone will find it and publish it overseas. I am not going to hold my breath though, not yet anyway. Other than that it is just research, research, research for my next book.
Last week I made purchased fully cooked meatballs and put about twenty in a corning wear bowl and poured Italian style diced tomatoes over them and added about a cup of grape jelly and brought it to a boil, covered it and simmered it until the liquid was way down. (Watch this step or you may burn everything up). This makes a good sweet and sour meatball concoction.
The other dish I took three boneless, skinless chicken breasts and put them in a slow cooker, poured 3/4 cup ketchup over them and then poured a small can of Pepsi over that and cooked all day. The other dish I made a vegetable beef stew with mushroom soup, one can. Which was very easy, Had a small piece of beef that I browned and cut up into serving size bites, one can of diced potatoes, 2/3 of a bag of frozen vegetables, added the soup and covered and simmered until all was cooked. I did add a 1/4 can of water also.
Well that's it for tonight, may God always be with you.

Just to say I am still here.
Just to let you know that on Aug. 27th 2010, That I am still here and working on my next book. That is taking a lot of my time and also church related items are keeping me busy as well. And after taking some of the summer off from teaching the Bible I have to restart my class on Wed. the 1st of Sept.
Tomorrow I have to get going and wash clothes, cook, go to cardiac rehab, and take my daughter in law home after taking her treatments at the hospital.
Let's hope this country never has a nuclear reactor mishap like Chernoble in the Ukraine had. It seems like a lot of people are just guessing what to do when it comes to treatment for people.
My cooking this week is on the grill so nothing exciting to talk about although I found a new receipe for tuna, elbow macaronni cold salad. It contains onions, celery, cream of mushroom soup, peas, mayo, and to liven it up a little I will try just a little horse radish sauce. I hope it will turn out okay as I am not fond of the dish but am suppose to eat more fish, per my doctors.
That's all I have tonight, enjoy the week and thank God for what you do have.

Starting another book
Today Friday the thirteenth I decided to start my next book. Do not want to give to much information out on it but it deals with different books of the Bible and Gods messengers. I have done a lot of research and I believe it will take a while to write this one.
My last book that I thought was completed but after reading it I relized I left people up in the air on a couple of items, so I added a very small chapter to the book. The book is still a small one and I do believe it will get some peoples attention especially being "X" rated. I know some people will be very disturbed about how I wrote the book but I am going after the un-churched among us.
Thats all I really have to say tonight and besides it is starting to get stormy.
Before I go though my cooking this week was very easy. I made a spanish rice dish with tomatoes, hamburger and spiced it up a little with some chilli powder. Real easy.
My other dish was hash brown potatoes, onions, peppers, and then I scrambeled some eggs alone and then added it to the potaotoes and had some grilled ham slices along with it. Of course I spiced that up just a little also. Both dishes tasted good and they did not take very long at all. My third meal I am going to go out for supper, but do not know yet what or where.
Have agood day and may God be with you. Grampa Ed

One more book completed, or is it.
I just finished writing another small book that is based on the Bible and a few kings of old. It also is about a concubine of the one king. This book is fiction partially and is "X" rated, because I am trying to reach the unchurched and those that do not believe in the Lord.
Right now is the part I do not like about writing, I have to check my where's and wheir's and there and their and to and too's and my grammer. YUK--never was good at English 101. If my old English teacher new I was writing she would probably do an Irish Jig on top of her coffin.
Then the fun, do I find a publisher through my agent or do I try myself, which is a big question. Of course how much money am I willing to spend as it seems I end up spending money one way or another.
Have two published and one with an agent trying to get another one published, I may have to re-write that one as I did write it too fast and I used a different style of writing going with a play manuscript style and that may be my problem. But I wrote it as a book not a play.
Well this week I cooked something that I think most of the people like, just plain old spaghetti and meatballs, and I had some stripes of chicken in the freezer so I stir fried them and added mixed vegtables with noodles and stir fried all together and will have some Zataran original rice with it, just to liven up the dish a little. Some people do not like the next item, but I do. I took some chipped beef and tore it up into small pieces and made a cream gravy and cooked it together and will put it over either toast or mashed potatoes along with some green beans on the side. The other sides will be sliced tomatoes and cottage cheese with peach slices. And of course garlic french bread. Did I make you hungery. I must have to much time on my hands.
Well, I have done a little research on another book based on the Bible, but before I start on it I best do more research to make sure of what I am going to write. NO, this one will not be x rated. Two is enough. I have this one I will write and then if the good Lord keeps me here for a while longer I want to try my hand writing one for young children going into their teenage years, like ten through fourteen. Unless something happens that I will have no control over.
Have a good day and enjoy it, for tomorow may never come.

I did come back, are you happy?
I experimented with a couple of new receipe's I found and then changed slightly. I made a shepard's pie and a pot pie combination and it tasted really great. Try this you may like it---
Line a pie plate with a pie crust and bake.
Fry 1/2 lb. ground pork and 1/2 lb. good hamburger
Add chopped onion and pepper while frying and near the end add green beans, carrots, diced tomatoes and some tomatoe sauce.
Transfer to dish with pie crust, top with mashed potatoes, bake at 350 degress for 50 min. or until potatoes start turning brown.
Top with shredded fat free chedar cheese.--serve.
The other receipe; slice two small onions and put in a fry pan with olive oil, about two tablespoons. Then add two cloves of garlic (or less). then add two teaspoons of dryed red pepper (crushed), continue frying tell onions are clear. Transfer to a plate. Add two tablespoons of olive oil to fry pan and fry four chicken thighs until browned all around. Transfer what you put on the plate on top of the chicken.
Add about 1/3 of a cup of raisans, some sliced olives with pimento (one, to two tablespoons full) and a cup and a half of white cooking wine.
Cover and cook about 45 minutes or until chicken is really tender---serve.
I have not done anything on my book I am writing as I sort of have writers block. I decided I was getting away from the main story line so I deleated a bunch of it and now have to decide which way I want to go again.
I am not worried as this is more of a hobby for me than being a great writer.
The one publisher I have keeps changing the way they produce their books and the price, so I am going to sit back and see what they will come up with later. I like the cheaper price but I do not know what the book will be like, so I am going to wait before I spend any more money with them.
Well the Fourth of July is over and I hope all of you enjoyed it. The only problem I saw was at our church we had maybe 1/2 the congregation we normally have. I wonder how many other churches had the same. We seem to be more interested in our enjoyment than being interested in God and his only begotten son Jesus Christ.
Anyway, enjoy the month and may God be with you always.

Wed. June 23rd, 2010 and Fathers Day is over
I do not know about you but I had a very good Fathers day. I ate to much but that is what food is for. Saw all three of the kids and the grandchildren. I am not cooking this week as I am trying to eat all the leftovers that we brought home from the restaurants. The last daughter and her three daughters left for Iowa around nine in the morning and my dog, Otto, went to sleep and slept tell four in the afternoon. He had a lot of fun with all the attention he was getting.
I have noticed in ealier posts of mine that my fingers hit more than one key at a time so I do have a few misspelled words. (Sorry about that). I suppose it could be worse.
Not sure who wrote this, but I thought it would be a good spot to mention it to get more people to remember there mothers and fathers, and friends.
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime,---embrace all equally."
Do you remember all of the Ten Commandments? The verse above reminds me of one, Honor thy Father and Mother. DO YOU?
Well that's it for today, we do have more storms heading our way so I will have to watch the weather channel from now on for the rest of the day.
Enjoy your day.

Time keeps marching on (And so does my money)
I have a book out there that I am trying to get published and I hired an agent to get it to a publisher, because being new to this game I do not know the system. If I was younger I would try to do it myself, so I will just spend some more money and keep my fingers crossed that they will find me a buyer for the book. The book is "XXX" rated for all the sexual content but I am trying to get people to think on what can happen when Satan controls half of one family and God controls the other half. Satan will try anything to get his way as he trys to take over the world.
This book deals with the book of Revelation in the Bible and what Satan can do to a Christian family when he wants to have his way. It goes on to the war between Satan and Jesus as Jesus returns to earth.
A lot of books are out there that are in the same story but I am trying to get to the unchurched that only read sex novels to try to get them to understand some of the Bible and to find God and his only begotten son Jesus. I do not know if tjhis idea will work but it is wortjh a try.
Well yesterday I did a little cooking and baked a split chicken with a barbicue sauce that I soaked it in for a couple hours before baking. Then made some sweet potatoes and sweet corn on the cob. I also made a couple of hamburgers and a couple of chicken breasts with a lot of garlic and onion. I made potatoe medely to go along with the chicken breasts and hamburgers. (Contains-diced potatoes, celery, carrots, onions, squash)
That should take care of me for this week. Have a good week and enjoy yourself.

I think I am back to my post.
Hi everyone,
I took a few weeks off to get other things done and now I am busier than I was before. Right now I was overwelmed with a couple of church projects, but I took the summer off (June and July) from teaching the Bible as most people are going on vacation or are doing other things (like playing in the city band)or listening to the band. So it is a good time for me to get back to writing. Although I will be teaching a new subject this month and it is only scheduled for one day this month.
A lot of people have lost their spouses and do not know what to do or where to go with problems. I an another person from church will lead it and she was a pastors wife. Both of us have lost our spouses and between learning from our experences and reading a few books on the subject, we are going to give it a try. We may stumble but we won't say no. OPray for us. Thanks.
Tried some new receipes and do like one of them. Crock pot cooking. Pork chops covered with vedalia onions, sliced sweet potatoes, and sliced apples and slightly spinkled with brown sugar (about three tablespoons full) and a half bottle of apple juice (half a cup) slow cook until potatoes and meat are tender. It tasted fairly good if I must say so myself.
Have a good night.

Tomorrow is TGIF
I am glad that tomorrow is Friday as I have had trouble with this machine called a computer all week. I would pull my hair out, if I had some. Have you ever typed all day and then your computer refuses to save it? Where is my HAMMER?
Oh well, I just have to take it in stride and laugh about it, but why is their tears in my eyes? Even my dog is looking at me funny, or is it because it is his time to go outside?
Lets get away from this subject and go to a couple of items I have in my second book. Their are slightly over one hundred items in the Bible that a lot of people do not know and this pertains to sientific facts. (I do use the King James Version of the Bible.)Here are just a few for you:
In Jonah 2:6 it mentions mountains of the ocean. Yet man did not find mountains until they started deep sea diving, which was not to many years ago.
In Job 38:7 it mentions that the morning stars sang together. Not to long ago researchers found that all stars emit radio waves and most of them are different from the others, even the sun. (I do wonder if they have found different waves from the different galaxies)
I have just a few listed in my book "Afraid to Read the Bible".
I do sart talking a little on the number seven and how much it is used in the Bible, starting in Genesis and going all the way to Revelation. Yes other numbers are listed but not like the number seven. So I am asking you the reader of this article, Do you think there is a specific reason why, and what is God trying to tell us?
That is what I like about the Bible, there is so much to learn and to study and to think about, from scientific facts to history, from family trees to wars, from love stories to sin. At present I am writing a book on concubines and have found a lot of data that I never paid any atention to before that is in the Bible. Even if you find something you do not care for in the Bible, study it as you may find something very interesting as you study and it may change your mind.
As I wrote in my first book "Does Your Flame Flicker? Even though the Bible does have love stories and war, murder, hardships, and a lot of DO NOTS, it still will teach you God's love and Jesus love for you.

WED. APRIL 28, 2010--OVER THE HUMP DAY
Afternoon.
I have a question for you again today, see if you can answer it. In the Bible it lists----Mesopotamia, Babylon, Land of Shinar. The question I have is; what is the name of the country today?
Clues: Noah built the ark their.
Jonah preached in Nineveh which is in this country.
Abraham was from Ur, which is in this land.
Jacob met Rachael their.
The wise men where from their.
Nebuchanezzar, the king of Babylon, carried the Jews captive to
this land.
Okay I will give you the answer; or should I not? It is Iraq.
Not to change the subject, but my mind always seems to come to food. I received some rhubarb today so I think I will make a strawberry, rhubarb pie and a rhubarb coffee cake. Then I will make a meat loaf with mashed potatoes and green beans with carmeled onions. Then maybe a beef and vegy soup with garlic bread. Then I will get yelled at by the nurses at cardic rehab if I put on any weight. Oh well.
I will make the pie and coffee cake with splenda so it is a little sweet, but better for me.
Will be having a small book signing coming up, so I am going to take both my books and I bought a bunch of economy KJV bibles and if someone buys both books I will give them a Bible, but only if they buy both books.
Well thats it for today---Enjoy it, as it could be your last one.

Having a problem writting a book.
I have this small problem and am unsure on how to accomplish my goal. It is based on two books of the Bible and is "XX" rated. It is fiction, but, How do I present it as I am going after the unchurched people that only read "XX" rated material? I am trying to get them to look at and read the Bible so I am trying to make the Bible sound like it would be for them, but in so doing I may offend the people of Israel and other Jewish people. If you have any idea's please let me know.
Other than that I am just slowly doing my thing and I am already planning on my menu for next week.
It is supposed to be clear here tonight so I think I will take the telescope out and check the stars and the moon again. Some day I will maybe be rich and buy a big expensive scope. Sure, but I can dream can't I!!!!

Questions for you today.
The following items I have put in the book titled "Afraid to Read the Bible?"
Did you know that the book of Genesis is more than the beginning of the world. There are six more beginnings, can you name them without looking them up.I will be nice and list them here.
2. The beginning of SIN by man.
3. the begionning of the promise of redemtion.
4. The beginning of family life.
5. The beginning of man made civilization.
6. The beginnings of the nations of the world.
7. The beginning of the Hebrew race.
Another question: Who were the eight people saved from the great flood?
Answer: Noah, his wife and their three sons and their wives=eight.
Another question for you; Of the twelve tribes of the Hebrew race, which tribe did not recieve land?
Answer: The Levites, as they were to be the high priests.
I am going to ask a couple more questions but I want you to look them up in your Bible.
Question 1. How many trees are listed in the Bible?
Question 2. How many mountains are listed?
Question 3. What is the first bird mentioned?
Question 4. How many Parables did Jesus teach?
Question 5. How many Miricles did Jesus perform that are listed in the Bible?
I have a lot of questions like this in my book but I do give "some" answers. On some I want you to look it up as how will you ever learn your Bible.
I feel sorry for you tonight so I will give you the answers to the five above questions.
1). Fifty three trees
2). Ten Mountains are listed--some have more than one name.
3). If you said Dove you are wrong---it was a raven
4). There are forty Parables listed.
5). There are thirty five listed--23 dealing with healing--9 over the forcews of nature--3 dealing with bringing someone back to life.
I try to keep you interested in not only reading my book but also the Greatest book ever writen--The Bible.
Thgat is all I have time for tonight so I must say GOODNIGHT tell you come back again.

I am a little late with this blog this week, sorry.
It is spring and of course I catch a cold, but I will get through it with flying colors. I even missed going to church Sunday. I did pick up some medicine today but not for the cold. I take a lot of pills and the doctors say I need all of them. Oh well, if I want to see all my grandkids graduate from school I just have to hang in there. Lets see, the oldest one is in college and wants to become a doctor and the youngest one is 2 1/2 yrs old. I think I better find the fountain of youth. Anybody know were it is at?
I have copies of my second book---"Afraid to Read the Bible?"---and the only thing I was not real happy with is the size of print. It is okay, but for older people I think the print could be a little bigger, but that is just my opinion.
Tomorrow is my day to cook for the week, and I think I will make sticky chicken thighs over rice with brocoly using chicken stock in the rice instead of water. brush the chicken with soy sauce and then sprinkle some brown sugar on it and the bake it. Serve over the rice.
Then I think I will do a chicken breasts rolled in corn flake crumbs and make sweet potatoes with that.
Then I will do a couple of hamburgers and bought some new buns for that which are called whole wheat sandwich thins and are supposed to be only 100 calories each. Lets see, maybe some jello with a banana in it. and of course I have to have some vegy's. This way all my cooking is done and I do not have to cook every day, just throw it on a plate and heat it up in the microwave. Nice and easy and fast.
If you are interested in my second book---"Afraid to Read the Bible?"
you can go to publishamerica.net and that takes you right to the bookstore. Good time to buy as they have all softcovers on sale for two days only. You will just have to check as they do cross out the price and put the sale price up.
Well I have to take the dog outside and then get ready for bed. Have a good night and always remember the Lord.---------I do have a question for you. What is the name of the books taken out of the Bible that are considered not trustworthy??? Just one word. I will tell you the answer the next time or you can ask your pastor. Goodnight

My day of rest, I quess
I suppose I had to take a day of rest today and took a good nap tell the telephone rang. I have been pushing myself of late and have been doing a lot of things I normally do not do. I did get my condo clean though, which was a job, (I hate cleaning) and I still have to finish the kitchen but not until They put in new gaskets under the sink,
With my health problems (which has improved greatly) and all the medicines I am on, I think I could take a nap every day and did for a long time. Now I just wait tell my body says "thats it, nap tome", then I colapse.
We had our Lenten dinner again yesterday evening (Wed) then watched a DVD and then had class. It is an easy course for me to teach, as long as I can keep the people answering questions about the DVD. I did mention it in one of my blogs a couple of weeks ago. Last week we had breakfast for supper, and this week we had roast beef with potatoes and carrots and a tossed salad and all kinds of desert. Of course I ate way to much, but it is better than my cooking. Which reminds me I had better get supper going soon for tonight. How does turkey burgers wrapped in bacon with tomatoe and onion slices and other condomints sound, along with some hash brown potatoes, peas with pearl onions and cottage cheese and pear slices sound.
Sounds good to me.
It rained here most of the morning and then the sun came out but it looks like it could start raining again soon, so I better get the dog outside before it does rain. Poor little guy just does not like to get wet. He really is not too big and not too small and weighs 22 lbs. He is the largest Shi Tzu that I have owned and I think the smartest one I have owned. Well it is getting time to go eat, have a great day for yourself tommorow, and enjoy life as it is too short.
Take care and until the next time, how do the say it in Hawaii, ALOHA.
Just remember to say your prayers tonight for all your blessings and always have the Lord on your mind and in your hearts.
Remember this from the Bible; Whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.----2nd Corinthians 3:16
Goodnight---Grampa Ed

My second book
I said earlier that I had another book going to the printer and it is printed already and I was notified yesterday March 8th,2010 that it was finished. I have not seen the finished book as of yet, but it is supposed to be on the way to my condo.
I must say that this company is really fast at what they do. It seemed like yesterday I sent them the manuscript. Hope you do not mind me crowing a little over it, but at seventy five you do not crow a lot over things pertaining to yourself. Now if I can get my agent to find some publisher to buy the third book I would be very happy. I can see a publisher thinking twice on it as it is Christian but is "XX" rated because of some sexual content.
I suppose I sould tell you the title of the book that just got printed which is---"Afraid to Read the Bible?" by Grampa Ed and the publisher is Publish America. To find them on the internet go to www.publishamerica.com. Best way to find the book, go to bookstore, go to bottom of page and you will see a search bar. Click on it then use the backspace tab to clear the word search, then type in the title and click on go. I guess I better get ready to eat supper so I can get some other items done today as tommorrow is a very busy day again.

Will not be long and Feb. will be over.
As they say, the older you get the time goes by faster. Another month is just about over and as usual I am busy. (I said I was Busy, not dizzy) but sometimes I wonder.
Just spent more money and sent out flyers for a newspaper in my area and it will cover 15000 homes. Hopefully I can get a few to buy my first book before the second one comes out. It is a small weekly newspaper and covers three towns and will have the address were to buy the book with information on cost, shipping, etc, with a picture of the cover, plus my bio.
I have neglected my blog as I have been busy with a different book, writting. When the creative juices flow you have to take care of it or you will loose it down the drain.
I am also busy with Lent being here and will be teaching a small group and using a DVD and book titled "The Easter Experience". There will be about six or seven small groups. My regular class will continue after Easter is over.
If you think your life is hard, think of what Jesus went through during his life, then quit your complaining.
Thats it for tonight, take care, tell next time. Grampa Ed

Another book should come out soon.
Well, I sent a revised copy back to the publisher. It is all set up for publication except I am still waiting on the cover design to approve it. Once I approve it, the book should be going to print shortly.
This is a very small book (only 40 pages) as I did not want people to be bored reading it and I know a lot of people stay away from the Bible, as they see it as a book that is boring and hard to read. Hopefully this book will help some of these people.
Another book I have out there is a Fictional book but based on the Bible and that is being sent to eight publishers by my agent. These are the publishers who would not even look at a manuscript unless you go through an agent.
I am also writting a book now that is also fictional, but based on the Bible. And I have one other planned and am getting data for that one at this time. I will tell more on these at a much later date.

Advertising
I am trying a couple of other ways to advertise this book. One way, I am mailing out post cards with a quick rundown on the book and author and also a order form for the publishing company. The ones the publisher gave me are a large post card and they cost the same as first class mail. So I am cutting the size down to a regular post card size, this will be for people I want to send the information too that live out of state. I am also working on a flyer that can be added to the daily newspaper in my area as an insert. Advertising all cost money and you have to keep pinching the old penny but you have to spend money to make money. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Something different
Thought I would talk about something different tonight and stay away from my book. So I thought I would talk about one of my hobbies, which is collecting "Truck Banks". Most of the banks are 1/25 th. scale or slightly under or over with a few being up around 1/45 scale.
I have two porcelain ones that are much larger, and I have a few "Dime" ones that are only about three to four inches long. I do have plastic, die cast, aluminum, zinc, banks. Most have boxes of one type or another with a couple of boxes not being in the best shape. Those were bought on line and dealers sometimes stretch the truth a little. All told I have two hundred nighty that are banks, ten that are not banks (most given to me by people)and one that the box says it is a bank but the truck is not a bank.
So if you want something to do it is cleaning time, and I have my toothbrush ready and my duster. You can be surprised how quickly they need cleaning. The toothbrush is for cleaning around the fenders and all the little grooves in the trucks. So if you want to help just tell me, I will feed you cookies and coffee all day. (Have fun)
I go into the collecting for the advertising on the trucks. Some I paid to much for and others I stole them from the people for hardly no money. It is a fun hobby except the cleaning, and the anticpation of selling one and trying to get your money back. Well that is enough of this for tonight and will write something again soon. Goodnight all.

Trying some advertising
Well, I am trying some e-mail advertising and hope I sell a few books through them. Business must be slow for them as they kept dropping their price to where I thought it was a fair price. Do not know if it will work but it is worth a gamble.
I need to sell some of the books so I have time when my next book comes out sometime this year. (2010)
Then if the company I have that is tryiong to sell a mauscript for a play or movie stickes out I think I will go with a publisher with that and make it into a book. That is a touchy one as it is a Christian book but is XX rated due to the sexual content. It pertains to when Satan takes over the world and how he takes just one family and breaks them up. It is based on the book of Revelation of the Bible.
I am running out of time as I do have another book that I am writing and I like to write when I have the ideas in my mind and not three, four, days down the road.
So again if you have ideas for advertising or getting newspapers to publish an article on the book, please let me know. Thanks

A question I ask in the book.
Here is a question I asked in my book. I want you to think on this for a minute , before answering. Actually one question leads to another, so do not throw something at me, thanks.
Is your Bible getting dusty?
Where is your Bible? (hopfully not under the TV guide)
When did you read it last?
Have you ever read all the way through the Bible? (if not, how come?)
Did you ever read Revelation before you read the complete Bible?
Well, what where your answers? Do you think you should pick it up and start reading the Bible again?
"HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO FIND GOD AND HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS CHRIST, IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THEIR WORDS?"
Okay, that is enough for tonight on this subject
Does anyone know how to get a newspaper to print an article about a book.
I have e-maild them and sent a letter about the book along with a picture of the front and back of the book, but to no avail. They just ignore me and I know the publisher E-mailed them also when the book first came out.
This is my biggest problem I have today, so HELP,HELP,HELP.

Hey, I came back. Sorry
I do not remember if I told you, but I do not get any profit from this book. All my profit goes to three Christian charities which are:
Feed the Children
World Vision
Life Today
I chose these for their statement of faith (giving the word of God to children as well as feeding them). Now I have a question for you---Do you help???, God tells you too in the Bible. There are many ways you can help, even in your own backyard, especially now with the unemplyment rate as high as it is. Please consider helping someone, buy food for them or cook a good meal or two, three for someone. There are a lot of seniors out their that are living on just about nothing, and they will not say a word.
Here is an idea for you: anyone can do this; Go to angelfoodministries.com and check out their menu, find a host site near you, order and pick it up and give it to a needy family. You can feed a family of four for a week for thirty dollars.
I have done this and the families are very happy to recieve the food. I do go through my pastor to see who needs the food and then I have the pastor or someone else deliver the food so I remain anominous.
Think on this and I think you will be very happy you are doing something for your fellow man. Well thats it for today.

2010 is here!!! Did you servive??
Well another year has come and gone and we are now in 2010. Another year older and deeper in debt. Oh Well!!
Hope everyone had a good New Year's and enjoyed themselves. I stayed home and went to bed after a movie was over which was just about the stroke of midnight, but was sound asleep when it did get here.
I have my Bible class again tonight and just finished up getting ready for the next book to study which is Psalms. So I have to eat and be at a church meeting at 6 pm and then get to my class which starts at 7 pm. Hurry, hurry, hurry. And my cardiologist keeps telling me to slow down. If I go any slower I will fall asleep standing up.
Getting back to my book I do have some jokes and stories in it which I think are great, they all are listed as author unknown. Will get into that a little later. Must run, so have a good night and God be with you.

Happy New Year to everyone
Well, it is a new year again and I am still spending money on my book and getting very little in return. Maybe someday I will but I am not going to hold my breath. After all these years you would have thought I would be a little sharper then I was. They sure do know how to sell things. I just wonder if anyone has figured out how to sue some of these firms and win, I know I never will sue because they have all my money. Oh well.
But I did go into it with my eyes wide open, but they do just the minimum of work to keep it legal. You want more, you pay more. They never tell you all this and get so much paper work with some firms, it is hard to say what you did sign up for.
Anyway this is getting off my chest. Thanks for reading.
Happy New Year.
