Sorry I have not been on my blog site

I am sorry I have not been on for a long while. It seems as though everytime I try to get started something comes up and then I am lost for a couple of months.
Health has kept me off for some of it, and just being busy with other items; like church meetings, helping my son and daughter in law with rides and using my car. He is working but not making any money and she is from the Urkrain and was too close to Chernobel when it melted down and now has a very wierd type of cancer caused by the radiation. It is attacking her nervous system (so she goes through like a change of life everyday).
And then I have been writing some, not as much as I should be doing, but I am writing.
I now have to be on a very low sodium diet, preferably 1000 mg per day. Then they went up the groin area and checked my heart valve (that was replaced seven years ago), and stent by my heart to make sure it is okay. The next month they took an aneurysm from behind my knee out (which was about three inches long) but it left me with a drop foot, so I have a brace to wear on my foot and leg and still use a cane to get around. Am glad they found it as if it had ruptured I would have lost my leg, or worse.
The good news is that they published my fourth book at the start of December (2011) and it is titled: "The Seventy Seventh Day" and it is about Satan taking over the world and what he does to a Christian family. It is very sexual in content as Satan takes one boy and one girl from this family and turns them into prostitutes and they work for him. It is not a long read and is only about 188 pages, and I am torn betwen which book I think is writen the best. It might be Abashag though. Oh well, someone, sometime will let me know. That's it for tonight---Goodnight and sweet dreams---And Merry Christmas.

What is it???

I am just curious, so I am asking if you know what this is???
We all have them, some not too happily, some with joy. They just come and then are gone. Some will get them on the same day as a holiday, some will not. They can be boring, they can be fun, and for some they can be sad. Some people live there lives around them, others run from them. It just does not matter as you still will get one. Some people will overeat when they get one, some will drink to much when they get one, and some people will try to hide when they get one. Mine came today and I am glad. What is it--------a birthday and today was my seventy sixth one, and deeper in debt. Just recupersting from another prceedure being done on my left leg with the right leg to be done soon. (I hope) Viens have blockages in them and it was getting harder to walk. If you saw the picture of the leg you would wonder how any blood flowed through the vien. Hopefully I will be back more often. Working on my fifth book, two are published, two I am looking for publishers and may have found one that is interested. I am not going to hold my breath though.
May you all have a good birthday this year and thank the man up above for what you have.

What am I going to say today?????

Do not have much to say today. I did have the one book that I am trying to find a publisher for, it will be taken to the Franfurt book show (Germany) and maybe, just maybe someone will find it and publish it overseas. I am not going to hold my breath though, not yet anyway. Other than that it is just research, research, research for my next book.
Last week I made purchased fully cooked meatballs and put about twenty in a corning wear bowl and poured Italian style diced tomatoes over them and added about a cup of grape jelly and brought it to a boil, covered it and simmered it until the liquid was way down. (Watch this step or you may burn everything up). This makes a good sweet and sour meatball concoction.
The other dish I took three boneless, skinless chicken breasts and put them in a slow cooker, poured 3/4 cup ketchup over them and then poured a small can of Pepsi over that and cooked all day. The other dish I made a vegetable beef stew with mushroom soup, one can. Which was very easy, Had a small piece of beef that I browned and cut up into serving size bites, one can of diced potatoes, 2/3 of a bag of frozen vegetables, added the soup and covered and simmered until all was cooked. I did add a 1/4 can of water also.
Well that's it for tonight, may God always be with you.

Just to say I am still here.

Just to let you know that on Aug. 27th 2010, That I am still here and working on my next book. That is taking a lot of my time and also church related items are keeping me busy as well. And after taking some of the summer off from teaching the Bible I have to restart my class on Wed. the 1st of Sept.
Tomorrow I have to get going and wash clothes, cook, go to cardiac rehab, and take my daughter in law home after taking her treatments at the hospital.
Let's hope this country never has a nuclear reactor mishap like Chernoble in the Ukraine had. It seems like a lot of people are just guessing what to do when it comes to treatment for people.
My cooking this week is on the grill so nothing exciting to talk about although I found a new receipe for tuna, elbow macaronni cold salad. It contains onions, celery, cream of mushroom soup, peas, mayo, and to liven it up a little I will try just a little horse radish sauce. I hope it will turn out okay as I am not fond of the dish but am suppose to eat more fish, per my doctors.
That's all I have tonight, enjoy the week and thank God for what you do have.

Starting another book

Today Friday the thirteenth I decided to start my next book. Do not want to give to much information out on it but it deals with different books of the Bible and Gods messengers. I have done a lot of research and I believe it will take a while to write this one.
My last book that I thought was completed but after reading it I relized I left people up in the air on a couple of items, so I added a very small chapter to the book. The book is still a small one and I do believe it will get some peoples attention especially being "X" rated. I know some people will be very disturbed about how I wrote the book but I am going after the un-churched among us.
Thats all I really have to say tonight and besides it is starting to get stormy.
Before I go though my cooking this week was very easy. I made a spanish rice dish with tomatoes, hamburger and spiced it up a little with some chilli powder. Real easy.
My other dish was hash brown potatoes, onions, peppers, and then I scrambeled some eggs alone and then added it to the potaotoes and had some grilled ham slices along with it. Of course I spiced that up just a little also. Both dishes tasted good and they did not take very long at all. My third meal I am going to go out for supper, but do not know yet what or where.
Have agood day and may God be with you. Grampa Ed

One more book completed, or is it.

I just finished writing another small book that is based on the Bible and a few kings of old. It also is about a concubine of the one king. This book is fiction partially and is "X" rated, because I am trying to reach the unchurched and those that do not believe in the Lord.
Right now is the part I do not like about writing, I have to check my where's and wheir's and there and their and to and too's and my grammer. YUK--never was good at English 101. If my old English teacher new I was writing she would probably do an Irish Jig on top of her coffin.
Then the fun, do I find a publisher through my agent or do I try myself, which is a big question. Of course how much money am I willing to spend as it seems I end up spending money one way or another.
Have two published and one with an agent trying to get another one published, I may have to re-write that one as I did write it too fast and I used a different style of writing going with a play manuscript style and that may be my problem. But I wrote it as a book not a play.
Well this week I cooked something that I think most of the people like, just plain old spaghetti and meatballs, and I had some stripes of chicken in the freezer so I stir fried them and added mixed vegtables with noodles and stir fried all together and will have some Zataran original rice with it, just to liven up the dish a little. Some people do not like the next item, but I do. I took some chipped beef and tore it up into small pieces and made a cream gravy and cooked it together and will put it over either toast or mashed potatoes along with some green beans on the side. The other sides will be sliced tomatoes and cottage cheese with peach slices. And of course garlic french bread. Did I make you hungery. I must have to much time on my hands.
Well, I have done a little research on another book based on the Bible, but before I start on it I best do more research to make sure of what I am going to write. NO, this one will not be x rated. Two is enough. I have this one I will write and then if the good Lord keeps me here for a while longer I want to try my hand writing one for young children going into their teenage years, like ten through fourteen. Unless something happens that I will have no control over.
Have a good day and enjoy it, for tomorow may never come.

I did come back, are you happy?

I experimented with a couple of new receipe's I found and then changed slightly. I made a shepard's pie and a pot pie combination and it tasted really great. Try this you may like it---
Line a pie plate with a pie crust and bake.
Fry 1/2 lb. ground pork and 1/2 lb. good hamburger
Add chopped onion and pepper while frying and near the end add green beans, carrots, diced tomatoes and some tomatoe sauce.
Transfer to dish with pie crust, top with mashed potatoes, bake at 350 degress for 50 min. or until potatoes start turning brown.
Top with shredded fat free chedar cheese.--serve.

The other receipe; slice two small onions and put in a fry pan with olive oil, about two tablespoons. Then add two cloves of garlic (or less). then add two teaspoons of dryed red pepper (crushed), continue frying tell onions are clear. Transfer to a plate. Add two tablespoons of olive oil to fry pan and fry four chicken thighs until browned all around. Transfer what you put on the plate on top of the chicken.
Add about 1/3 of a cup of raisans, some sliced olives with pimento (one, to two tablespoons full) and a cup and a half of white cooking wine.
Cover and cook about 45 minutes or until chicken is really tender---serve.

I have not done anything on my book I am writing as I sort of have writers block. I decided I was getting away from the main story line so I deleated a bunch of it and now have to decide which way I want to go again.
I am not worried as this is more of a hobby for me than being a great writer.

The one publisher I have keeps changing the way they produce their books and the price, so I am going to sit back and see what they will come up with later. I like the cheaper price but I do not know what the book will be like, so I am going to wait before I spend any more money with them.

Well the Fourth of July is over and I hope all of you enjoyed it. The only problem I saw was at our church we had maybe 1/2 the congregation we normally have. I wonder how many other churches had the same. We seem to be more interested in our enjoyment than being interested in God and his only begotten son Jesus Christ.
Anyway, enjoy the month and may God be with you always.
